Grand Opening of The Hub

On September 30, we celebrated the Grand Opening of the Hub, a new community center led by and for current and former foster youth in Santa Clara County.

We are excited to be collaborating with the County of Santa Clara Social Services Agency and our community's youth to provide this first-of-its-kind in Santa Clara County resource dedicated to foster youth.

We also are grateful to the network of nonprofit organizations and government departments that have supported the endeavor and soon will be offering co-located services at the Hub! Our Independent Living Program (ILP) staff and services will be based at the Hub.

Since 1948, Family & Children Services has provided counseling, caring, and support to children, youth, and adults in Silicon Valley, particularly those who might not otherwise be able to afford care.
We help children and adults cope effectively with depression, addiction, and chronic mental or physical illness. We aid families in overcoming domestic violence and child abuse, teaching them how to build safe, healthy relationships. We counsel and assist our community’s veterans, LGBTQ youth, and young people aged 16-21 as they emerge from the foster care system into independence. www.fcservices.org
